The Gerber Prybrid Utility Solid State is a versatile pocket knife. Characterizing about this knife is that the blade isn’t the most important tool. As the name might already suggest it is the pry-bar at the end of the handle. You use this pry-bar for all tasks you wouldn’t use your pocket knife. Think of opening a beer, stripping electrical wires, tightening a screw or even removing a nail. You should consider the knife to be a bonus. But a great bonus! Because of the pointed tip it is namely perfect for the more detailed tasks. Or when opening a box. With the button the knife slides out. To make sure this doesn’t accidentally happen in your pocket you do need to completely press this button. To slide the knife back in you press it down again.
